A1GP driver Jonny Reid joins Formula Ford champion Sam MacNeill and NZV8 champion John McIntyre as finalists for New Zealand motoring's Jim Clark Trophy this year.
The trophy acknowledges outstanding driving performance and attitude at national or international level. MotorSport New Zealand's premier awards, to be announced on May 26, cover four sections, including racing, rallying, junior racing and historic and classic racing.
Finalists for the Rally Founders Trophy for rallying include Emma Gilmour from Dunedin, Richard Mason (Masterton), and Timaru's Haydon Paddon.
Steel Trophy finalists for outstanding talent among under 21 drivers, includes Jonathon Lester (Taupo), Shane van Gisbergen (Auckland) and Andrew Waite (Auckland).
Finalists for the Lupp Trophy for historic and classic racing are Noel Atley (Invercargill), Jim Barclay (Auckland) and Brian McCombe (Dunedin).
