KEY POINTS:
Aucklander Katherine Prumm is the women's world motocross champion for a second successive year after dominating the final round of the series at the Dutch grand prix today.
Prumm, 19, had started the round in the Netherlands one point behind fellow Kawasaki rider Livia Lancelot, of France.
She gave Lancelot no chance by winning both races on her Molson Kawasaki KX250F, heading the second-placed Natalie Kane, of Ireland, by more than 26 seconds.
Lancelot finished ninth and fourth to end the championship in second place overall.
Prumm was understandably ecstatic.
"I'm absolutely stoked," she said.
" ... because of all the extra support I received in New Zealand I was better able to prepare for the series.
"My preparation was much better this year. I spent the last three weeks here in Holland and had my dad (Eric) and brother (Matthew) here to help me too.
"I was very relaxed all week and the bike ran like clockwork."
