Frenchman Alex Premat has been announced as the endurance co-driver of Kiwi V8 Supercars star Shane van Gisbergen in 2016.
The former Garry Rogers Motorsport pilot has linked up with van Gibsergen at the Kiwi's new team Red Bull Racing Australia.
Premat, who was co-driver for fellow Kiwi Scott McLaughlin last year, will drive alongside van Gisbergen at Sandown, Bathurst and at the Gold Coast events this year.
The 26-year-old van Gisbergen has switched from Tekno Autosports to Triple Eight Racing in 2016, becoming part of a three-car line-up alongside former series champions Jamie Whincup and Craig Lowndes.
Whincup and van Gisbergen will carry Red Bull livery while Lowndes will drive a Caltex Vortex coloured Holden.
