Kiwis Brendon Hartley and Earl Bamber took a big step towards winning the World Endurance Championship with victory in LMP1 in Mexico.
The Kiwi duo and German teammate Timo Bernhard powered their Porsche 919 Hybrid to a one-two finish with factory teammates Neel Jani, André Lotterer and Nick Tandy taking second.
It extends the trio's lead in the championship to 41 points with four rounds remaining.
"The entire weekend was fantastic," said Bamber. "The team gave us a great car and made our life very easy.
"In the race it was a shame that our sister car had a penalty because some close racing would have been nice. I was the second driver in the car and my double stint was straight forward."
The next stop on the calendar sees the championship move to the United States with the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas playing host.
