Motorsport: Poor start continues for Murphy

Greg Murphy's disappointing start to the V8 Supercar series continues.

He has finished 12th overall at latest round in Perth, collecting 14th, 3rd and 19th in the three races.

The round was won by Steven Richards.

Greg Murphy says he hopes they can turn the season around because this year has been the worst start he has ever had.

Jason Richards was the best of the New Zealanders in Perth, finishing 9th overall.

Team Kiwi's Paul Radisich had a weekend to forget as well, leading race two from start to finish only to spin out on the last corner.

Ford's Russell Ingall remains the overall championship leader.
