Turkey has replaced Poland on the World Rally Championship calendar next year while it remains unlikely a 14th event will be added for next year.
New Zealand and Croatia had been pushing for inclusion on an expanded calendar but it appears the teams prefer to stick to 13 events.
Poland was axed due to repeated issues around safety.
"We regret to lose Poland, it's a tremendously important market and a great development in the last years of the WRC - but for safety reasons the FIA took the decision not to go again next year," WRC promoter Oliver Ciesla told Autosport.
"At [WRC Commission], we propose 13 events with the first six dates confirmed," he continued.
