Motorsport: Pither tries out V8 racing

New Zealand teenager Chris Pither has had his first taste of life behind the wheel of a V8 Supercar.

Pither, 19, who now lives on the Gold Coast, successfully completed an exploratory drive of the ex-Steve Ellery Ford BA Falcon at Queensland International Raceway in November and was given the opportunity of completing another short session at the same track last week.
