Kiwi rally driver Hayden Paddon's finished ninth after the opening stage of the WRC's latest event in Finland.
Estonian Ott Tanak, who came so close to a maiden win last time out in Poland, and eventual winner Andreas Mikkelsen posted identical times in the superstage to open the event.
The first full day of action is overnight tonight.
