Kiwi Rally driver Hayden Paddon is hoping history can repeat itself ahead of this weekend's rally of France in Corsica.
Paddon comes into the event in third position, 75 points behind current championship leader Sebastian Ogier.
Paddon says the roads in France are more like a race track so he is expecting some consistency with the surface.
He says based on their track record last year they struggled in the previous round in Germany then came right in Corsica so hopes for the same this year.
Paddon says at this stage of the championship it's about getting through each stage in one piece.
