Former Ford and Citroen factory driver Mads Ostberg will contest the majority of the 2017 World Rally Championship in a private entry.
The 29-year-old Norwegian has joined forces with long-time WRC privateer Martin Prokop of the Czech Republic to form a two-car team that will contest the championship from the second round in Sweden.
Both Ostberg and Prokop will run 2017-spec Ford Fiestas this year but will skip this month's season-opening event in Monte Carlo.
Ostberg, who drove for M-Sport Ford as a factory driver in 2016, has finished on the podium in Sweden five of the past six years.
Ostberg and Prokop will enter their own cars but will have to be under the M-Sport umbrella according to the new 2017 rules.
