New Zealand suffered a point-less outing at Portugal's Algarve circuit, crashing out of both yesterday's Sprint and Feature races at round six of the A1GP World Cup of Motorsport series. In the opening Sprint race, New Zealand driver Earl Bamber spun into a gravel trap on the opening lap after contacting the car from Lebanon while attempting a passing move. In the Feature race, Bamber made a strong impression on the opening lap to move up to sixth place from 11th position on the starting grid.
