French Formula One driver Romain Grosjean was involved in a nasty high-impact crash at the Russian Grand Prix overnight.
On lap 12, Grosjean lost control of his Lotus and hurtled into the barriers at high speed, wrecking the car. Despite the violence of the impact, Grosjean was uninjured.
His crash comes after two other high-impact smashes at Bathurst over the weekend. First, defending champion Chaz Mostert broke his leg, before the next day had a horror crash where Damien Flack's car went end-over-end multiple times.
Grosjean was in high spirits after the crash however.
