Four-time Bathurst winner Greg Murphy is keeping tight-lipped on his V8 Supercar future as his Tasman Motorsport team edges closer to extinction.
Tasman Motorsport is in considerable financial strife and next month's Sydney 500 round is likely to be its last.
Murphy says hopefully they will be able to sort everything out over the next month or so and they are considering massive changes, which may mean selling or leasing their licence.
The team is unlikely to be able to compete in the 2010 championship, although Murphy denies reports that Tasman Motorsport has already sold one of its licences to Australian driver Paul Dumbrell.
Murphy says there is a lot still to be sorted but while not detailing who he may drive for next season, he has ruled out switching to Ford.
The Holden stalwart says he got hundreds of angry responses from fans when he was linked to a switch to Ford.
He has taken that on board and he will definitely be driving a Holden.
The V8 Supercar season heads to Phillip Island this weekend with Murphy languishing in 22nd place in the driver's championship.
