Brad Keselowski has won the season-opening NASCAR race at Daytona this morning leading home Penske teammate Ryan Blaney in a one-two finish.
The two Fords dominated the final third of the race to take the chequred flag ahead of Joey Logano in third.
Jimmie Johnson crashed out of the race for the seventh year running – this time on the last lap, when he was bumped by Kyle Larson.
Larson, who raced midgets in New Zealand over the summer, admitted fault, blaming the incident on him getting used to new equipment.
Meanwhile Dale Earnhardt Jr's replacement Alex Bowman has secured pole position for the weekend's Daytona 500.
