Holden's Todd Kelly won his first V8 Supercar round of the year in th Gold Coast 300 yesterday as series leader Craig Lowndes' championship aspirations took a dive.
Kelly won the opening race on Saturday and then produced two runner-up efforts in yesterday's two heats to claim 313 championship points ahead of Ford's Mark Winterbottom with 300 and Rick Kelly third on 294 after his final race victory.
Lowndes' lead over Kelly is now 30 points with three rounds remaining.
