Canadian Daniel Morad learnt a valuable lesson at a recent karting event - take caution when celebrating a win while driving.
Heading down the final straight towards victory in the 2010 DD2 Rotax World Championship final last month, Morad lifted both arms in joy but in turn lost control of his kart.
Instead of a smooth ride across the finish line he ended up crashing into second place getter Maik Barten of Belgium, into the wall and was thrown from his vehicle.
Morad didn't look to suffer any serious injuries as he was later seen celebrating, outside his kart this time, on the podium.
He wasn't the only one to record a failure at the Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals in La Conca, Italy.
