Motorsport: Joe McAndrew leads

Former national champion Joe McAndrew overtook Emma Gilmour to lead the Targa New Zealand tarmac rally on the second day yesterday.

Gilmour, who had lost her overnight lead to McAndrew during the morning session, closed to within 12.8s of her rival.
