Off-contract New Zealander Jason Richards is one of the hottest properties on the V8 Supercar market after his remarkable second position in Bathurst a fortnight ago.
His stock has risen as a driver for scouting teams, and among those to have shown an interest is leading team Stone Brothers Racing who have yet to announce a replacement for departing champion Marcos Ambrose.
Richards, 29, would be an ideal replacement at the Ford team but the Holden driver has indicated SBR is not the only team chasing his signature.
