New Zealand Rally Championship defending champion David Holder has sourced a car for next month's Goldrush Rally Coromandel.
Holder ran the Hyundai NZ i20 AP4+ car in Rally Otago and International Rally of Whangarei as part of a shared drive but missed the last round in Canterbury.
The Tauranga-based driver has been working hard to try and find a drive and confirmed on his Facebook page that he will make the start line for the three remaining events this year - Rally Coromandel next month as well as Rally Waikato in October and Rally New Zealand in November.
He didn't elaborate about what type of car he will be using.
He won the season opening event at Rally Otago but ran into mechanical problems while leading in Whangarei.
