Emma Gilmour was relieved an accident cost her just one place on the third day of the Targa New Zealand tarmac rally yesterday.
As well as dropping her off the tail of rally leader Joe McAndrew, who had been less than 20s ahead going into the stage, the loss of two minutes was enough to drop Gilmour to fourth overall.
A win on the next stage got her back up to third again, but to regain second Gilmour also needs to claw back 1m 46s on Australian Ray Vandersee.
