Rally drivers call it getting some "big air" and it's that gravity defying moment that separates rallying from all other forms of motorsport.
World Rally Championship leader Citroen picked 10 of the most spectacular high-flying photos before last weekend's Rally of Finland.
The photos have been doing the rounds of the internet and were culled from a collection taken on rally circuits around the world since 2001.
Heading the list was the shot of Citroen's own Sebastien Ogier during the Rally of Turkey in April. It shows him during an 85m jump on the fast Ballica stage.
Said Ogier: "It was an incredible sensation, as we were up in the air for several seconds.
"Not for a moment did we imagine we would jump so far."
Another picture shows Ogier's Citroen teammate Sebastien Loeb flying over a bridge during the Rally of New Zealand this year.
The remaining eight photos were taken in Sweden, Finland, Italy, Greece and Norway.
Citroen has been competing in the FIA World Rally Championship since 2001. It has since won five manufacturer's titles and powered Loeb to all six of his championship crowns.
