Kiwi IndyCars driver Scott Dixon has banked another solid points haul at this morning's round of the championship at the Grand Prix of Indianapolis - the road circuit used in the lead-in to the Indianapolis 500.
Dixon finished second behind Australian Will Power - the Penske driver dominating the race throughout.
Ryan Hunter-Reay finished third with defending series champion Simon Pagenaud fourth.
Power had been close to winning in prior races this season but had misfortune strike so the Australian was extremely happy to get to the chequered flag.
"It was the perfect strategy," Power said. "It was hard work - full green.
