New Zealand's Scott Dixon will have to weave his way through a bit of traffic at the Japan 300 IndyCar race at Motegi today.
Dixon will start the race from 11th on the grid, after a disappointing day in qualifying.
Helio Castroneves is on pole, with Ryan Briscoe joining him on the front row.
Championship leader Will Power will be starting from third on the grid, right next to title rival Dario Franchitti.
Dixon's third in the standings, 83 points behind Power and needs nothing less than a win to remain in title contention with just one race left after this weekend.
