Kiwi IndyCar driver Scott Dixon has finished well down the timesheet on day two of practice for the Indianapolis 500.
The 2008 champion has clocked the 13th fastest lap time, almost four tenths of a second behind the pace setter, Australia's Will Power.
Two-time Formula One champion Fernando Alonso recorded the 24th best time.
Qualifying is this Sunday and Monday, with the Indy 500 the following Monday.
