Scott Dixon believes he'll recover in time for this weekend's Indy Car double-header at Belle Island in Detroit.
He's yet to learn how much damage he's done to his foot, after remarkably walking away from his horrific Indianapolis 500 crash.
Dixon is on crutches now, but he says the turnaround is tougher on his crew than it is for him.
He says when you have a big crash it's difficult to get back on the start line, but he's got time to rest and recover.
