New Zealand motocross rider Josh Coppins has maintained fourth position in the MX1 world championship standings after missing the podium during the latest round in France.
Coppins, on a Yamaha, banked 29 points from the eighth round races at Ernee, by recording sixth and seventh placings.
The Yamaha rider has 238 points and trails leader Antonio Cairoli of Italy (291) by 53 points with seven rounds remaining.
Germany's Maximilian Nagl won both races comfortably to improve to third overall on 248.
Belgian Clement Desalle is just a point behind Coppins in fifth.
The next round in at Teutschenthal in Germany on June 21.
