Josh Coppins has dropped to second place in the MX1 world championship after finishing out of the top 10 in the British grand prix, the 14th round, at the Donington circuit in England today.
The 30-year old New Zealander missed the previous two rounds after suffering a shoulder injury in a crash earlier.
His lead has steadily eroded, with Belgian Steve Ramon now leading the series.
He was 14th in today's first race while Ramon was sixth and was unplaced in the second race, with Ramon fourth.
