An integral part of the show at Vodafone Speedway - Western Springs rests with the commentary team who both call the racing action at the track, along with fronting the show that streams to those subscribed to watch the show elsewhere.
Yesterday the first part of the puzzle was signed off, in that the team of commentators who will be at the venue across the season was finalised. This team of commentators will share the responsibilities of the race call to the events that they have specific knowledge about.
"We have bought a number of people together here who we consider to have specific knowledge about the event running that particular night" said Greg Mosen - Promoter. "The entire show is running at a fast pace, and we want the best group of people calling the action to ensure our fans are well informed" he said.
The team includes Macau Johnson, Peter Murphy (USA), AJ Batt (Christchurch), Aaron Drever, Jason Gutteridge (Invercargill), Mintie (Huntly) and Ian Derbidge.
The season gets underway on Saturday November 4, which is now 17 weeks away.
