Kiwi Mitch Evans has suffered a shocking weekend at the New York ePrix on the Brooklyn Waterfront.
The Panasonic Jaguar Racing driver had DNFs in both races across the weekend at the penultimate round of his and the team's rookie season in the Formula E category.
He had been running in 10th today when he was struck by mechanical problems.
Evans' Jaguar teammate Adam Carroll bagged a solitary point in yesterday's race by finishing 10th but was outside the points today.
Sam Bird won both races across the weekend in his DS Virgin car.
