Former New Zealand fast bowler Danny Morrison is about to start sleeping with the enemy.
The 40-year-old Aucklander has announced his intention to move indefinitely to the Sunshine Coast town of Mooloolaba, where he has been linked to a domestic commentary position with Fox Sports.
Morrison will make the move with his wife Kim and two children, and said he was eagerly anticipating the ribbing he was likely to receive from both Australians and New Zealanders alike.
"I always enjoyed being sledged at the Gabba and I'm really looking forward to getting over there again," he said last night.
"We've got a lot of friends on the Sunshine Coast and a lot of Kiwis live there too, so it should be an enjoyable move."
Morrison's 160 test wickets rate as the third highest total for a New Zealander after Sir Richard Hadlee, Chris Cairns and Daniel Vettori, and includes 37 taken against Australia in 11 outings.
