KEY POINTS:
Racing has been delayed at Pukekohe Park this morning, after a huge accident compromised track safety.
A massive seven-car pile-up in this morning's first NZV8 race at Pukekohe Park Raceway saw two cars thrown over the Armco barrier into the track's outfield.
The barrier will take some time to repair, but racing will continue after lunch.
Stewards report that despite extensive damage to several cars, all drivers escaped injury in the incident.
It happened on the opening lap, with a spin in the middle of the field taking out half of the pack.
Drivers involved were Nick Ross, Angus Fogg, Cam Hardy, Allan McCarrison, Chris Adams, Boyd Norwood and Tim Edgell.
