France coach Bernard Laporte has overlooked New Zealand-born centre Tony Marsh, who is struggling with injury, in a 22-man Six Nations rugby squad he named yesterday to play Ireland on February 14.
Laporte included uncapped Toulouse hooker William Servat and Bourgoin lock Pascal Pap. Veteran loosehead prop Jean-Jacques Crenca and left- wing Christophe Dominici were surprisingly retained.
South African-born Pieter De Villiers, suspended from the 2003 Six Nations after testing positive for recreational drugs, won a recall.
He missed last year's World Cup after breaking a collarbone when he fell off a bike in the Alps during France's training camp.
