An unidentified man was found dead Tuesday morning inside the home of New York Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins while the football player was out-of-state, reports the Daily Mail.
Police in Bergen County said a house worker of the NFL player made the shocking discovery in the basement of the home located at 14 Van Saun Place in Fair Lawn.
Officials are investigating the man's death as possible strangulation and suffocation, NFL Network reporter Mike Garafolo said on Twitter this afternoon.
The man's identity has not been revealed. A name will be disclosed under the guidance of relatives.
A source told TMZ the 29-year-old had been in Florida - where he is from - at the time police and a coroner arrived to the residence.
