Boxer Jimmy Peau became an overnight Kiwi sporting sensation after punching his way to Commonwealth Game gold – and then set his sights on becoming the heavyweight champion of the world.
But despite a string of devastating knockouts in the US – including a world record stoppage in less than two minutes – he ended up broke and living on the streets in Las Vegas.
The one-time world champion hopeful then hit rock bottom in America in 2014, being deported after an assault conviction.
