Move over the Barrett brothers, there is another Kiwi rugby family that caused quite the stir in Eden Park. Meet the Reads.
Kieran Read's children Elle, six , Eden, four and five month-old son Reuben stole the spotlight and the hearts of rugby fans when they made an appearance during the All Black captain's speech to mark his 100th Test cap.
After the historic 15-15 draw that left New Zealand and the British and Irish Lions with a drawn series Read was presented with a commemorative cap presented by former teammate and fellow All Black centurion Keven Mealamu.
Read's speech was somewhat overshadowed by his offspring. Firstly, Eden, who must have been feeling particularly at home in her name sake stadium, decided to mark her dad's special night with looked to be some form of interpretive rain dance.
Then little Reuben decided it was the perfect moment to announce himself on the global rugby stage with a good old cry as his father held as he addressed the Eden Park faithful.
