Lions go jetboating following test win over All Blacks

Fresh from their remarkable second test win over the All Blacks, the Lions took to the water to celebrate and enjoy the beautiful New Zealand scenery.

Several members of the squad, including captain Sam Warburton, took a jetboat out onto the waters of Lake Wakatipu.

Warburton shared pictures and videos of the trip on social media, showing off the incredible environment, with snow-capped mountains surrounding the blue waters

For Warburton and co, it was the perfect way to unwind after a bruising but ultimately successful second Test in Wellington, where the Brits triumphed 24-21.

Those accompanying captain Warburton included Maro Itoje, Rhys Webb, Dan Biggar and Liam Williams, the latter sharing a selfie with team mate James Haskell on the boat.

Haskell also shared pic of some of his team mates, including Williams, Mako Vunipola and Jack Nowell, to Instagram, cheekily captioning it 'new boy band'.

Reports in New Zealand said dozens of Lions fans were on the borders of Lake Wakatipu, excited to catch a close up glimpse of their rugby heroes off the pitch.

While some travelled by sea, hooker Jamie George was one of a group who had a look around by air, sharing a snap on Instagram of a group about to board a helicopter.

Warburton certainly seemed impressed with the adventure, captioning his post on Instagram: 'Decent taxi back to base'.

It will have got them back to base pretty swiftly too, with jetboats able to travel across the water at up to 60mph.
