Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton is refusing to speak about his controversial motorcycle ride along an Auckland motorway which he filmed and posted on social media.
Hamilton, who spent a couple of days visiting New Zealand before this weekend's Australian Grand Prix, was briefly investigated by police after posting a film of himself on Snapchat as he rode a Harley-Davidson along the Northwestern motorway. Police did not take action because of a lack of evidence.

The Daily Telegraph reported the British Formula One ace was not keen to talk about the incident when pressed at a media conference in Melbourne yesterday.
Asked if he felt he had any responsibility to set an example to others after he rode and filmed as he drove a stone-faced Hamilton replied: "I don't have much of an answer for you, unfortunately."
