Wanaka's Janina Kuzma finished fourth in the women's FIS freestyle ski halfpipe World Cup title at Cardrona today in a good field of internationals.
Kuzma was the only Kiwi who qualified for the top-12 women's final and a good second run saw her score 76.6 points and claim fourth overall.
Jossi Wells was seventh in the men's competitions after scoring 76.6 on his first run and not landing his second.
Americans Torin Yater-Wallace and Devin Logan won the men's and women's titles respectively.
For the first time freestyle ski athletes' competition points will count towards gaining an Olympic spot. The International Olympic Committee announced in April that men's and women's halfpipe skiing will be an Olympic sport at the 2014 Winter Olympics.
