The Warriors and other NRL clubs will be without their Kiwis players a day longer after an electrical storm delayed their flight out of the US following the Denver test against England.
The delay could have an immediate affect on an injury-hit Warriors line-up for Friday's home clash with Cronulla Sharks.
Rookie Kiwis winger Jamayne Isaako has posted video footage on social media of players forced to camp out at Denver International Airport, after the weather intervention delayed their flight out of the 'Mile High City'. Isaako wrote: "we just wanna go home."
The players were expected to fly home on Sunday (Monday NZ time), but the players have posted messages on social media saying they have had to stay an extra day because of bad weather.
The team have checked into an airport hotel and are looking to fly out of Denver on Monday afternoon (Tuesday NZ time).
