New Zealand's Erin Taylor had a personal best on day three of the kayaking World Cup round in Duisberg, Germany, making the A final in the women's K1 500.
Taylor placed second in her 500m semifinal to progress to the A final, the paddler's first 500m A final, where she finished in eighth place.
Ben Fouhy also made an A final in the 500m event and finished ninth.
Steven Ferguson was pushed into a B final after finishing fourth in his 500m semifinal.
