Steven Ferguson and Darryl Fitzgerald have progressed to the A final of the men's K2 1000m at the World Cup canoeing event in Duisberg, Germany.
The New Zealand kayakers bounced back from a sub-par B final showing at the World Cup race in the Czech Republic earlier this month to finish third in their semifinal.
Their time of three minutes 24.485 seconds saw them qualify as the fourth fastest crew for the A final, which will be raced overnight tonight (NZT).
Teneale Hatton qualified for the B final of the women's K1 500m, while Hatton will be joined by Lisa Carrington, Erin Taylor and Rachael Dodwell in the B final of the women's K4 500m.
