Lisa Carrington dominated her qualifying races in the K1 200 and 500 at the world kayaking championships in Moscow today (NZT).
After winning her K1 500 heat earlier in the day, Carrington won her semifinal, beating out her nearest rival by a second and a half. She will compete in the final on Sunday night.
Carrington also won her K1 200 heat at the championships, progressing to tomorrow morning's semifinal.
Meanwhile, Scott Bicknell qualified for the semifinals of the men's K1 200, finishing fourth in his heat.
The K4 1000 crew of Darryl Fitzgerald, Martyn McDowell, Zac Quickenden and Jarrod Fitzgerald will contest the B final after finishing seventh in their semi.
