NRL star and NFL convert Jarryd Hayne is backing Chris Gayle, posting a photo with the West Indian cricketer saying he's teaching him manners.
Gayle came under the spotlight last week after his "don't blush baby" comment to female reporter Mel McLaughlin during a Big Bash League interview.
Gayle was fined $10,000 by his BBL side Melbourne Renegades for his on-air mid-match comments to the Network Ten reporter.
Hayne has returned to Australia from the States following his maiden NFL season with San Francisco and was quick to support the West Indian opener saying on social media that he was a "good bloke".
"Teaching the bruv some manners on speaking to women in oz! #goodbloke #2ndchance" the 49ers running back posted on Instagram.
