Jarryd Hayne has officially made it in the US.
Sure, he's a member of the San Francisco 49ers' squad and, yes, his jerseys have been outselling every other player in the NFL.
But the true sign you are a success in the land of red, white and blue comes when you are romantically linked to a celebrity.
Yes, the Hayne Plane has been photographed with pop princess Dinah Jane Hansen from the American girl group Fifth Harmony, and, in the social media world, that's enough to set off a frenzy.
"Fifth Harmony's Dinah Jane Hansen Dating Jarryd Hayne?" the fashionnstyle.com headline asked.
"Twitter Fans Freak Out Over Romance."
The photos causing the stir are of Hansen and Hayne posing together in the tunnel of the 49ers' Levi's Stadium, likely after Monday night's victory over the Minnesota Vikings.
There might be a bit of an age difference between 18-year-old Hansen and 27-year-old Hayne, but they do have South Pacific backgrounds, with the pop star being of Tongan descent and Hayne's father being Fijian footballer Manoa Thompson.
Hansen became part of Fifth Harmony during the second season of the TV talent show X Factor USA.
