Ivana Trump has revealed that the President thought the New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady would make a great companion for their eldest daughter Ivanka.
In her new book Raising Trump, the 68-year-old said Donald Trump desperately wanted Ivanka to date Brady before she got together with her now-husband Jared Kushner, according to Daily Mail.
"At one point, Donald wanted her to date Tom Brady, the quarterback," the passage reads, according to Business Insider.
"He said, 'You have to meet him!' But Ivanka wasn't into it."
Ivana, who was married to the then real estate magnate from 1977 to 1992, didn't' go further into detail about the relationship between Ivanka and Brady, and didn't say why the First Daughter wasn't interested.
But this isn't the first time someone has mentioned the possibility of their coupling.
In September former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci said he thinks Brady was a no-show during the Patriots' visit to the White House because of his history with Ivanka.
The Mooch suggested that he missed the visit, which was scheduled because the team won the Super Bowl, at his wife Gisele Bundchen's request - even going so far as to say that it was because the super-model felt jealous of Ivanka.
"There could be a little bit of jealousy there and protection and possession of Tom Brady, and she probably didn't want him to go," Scaramucci said on TMZ.
The quarterback, however, cited family reasons as why he had to miss the White House visit.
Tom and Don do have a friendship - which gained public attention when Brady donned a 'Make America Great Again' hat in the locker room when the campaign first began.
Brady has referred to Trump as a "friend" several times - though he never publicly endorsed him for president.
When Trump won the election he said that Brady called him to offer his congratulations - which drew some criticism from fans.
Brady then went out to publicly defend their relationship, saying: "Why does that make such a big deal?
"If you know someone, it doesn't mean that you agree with everything that they say or do, right?"
Ivana dedicated a lot of 'Raising Trump' to speaking about the First Daughter, her marriage to Trump, and her prominent role in the Trump Organization.
But she also unburdens herself about the heartache that Trump's affair with Maples caused her and the couple's three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric.
Donald Jr. didn't speak to his father for a year after the split.
"I can only shake my head at how it insane it was," Ivana Trump writes. "I couldn't turn on the television without hearing my name."
But she and the president have returned to far warmer terms.
She writes that they speak about once a week and that she encourages him to keep using Twitter.
"My instincts told me that Donald was smart and funny - an all-America good guy," Ivana Trump writes.
Her children also contribute passages to the book, and Ivana Trump muses that her former husband may not be the only Trump to call the White House home.
"Maybe in fifteen years, she could run for president?" she writes about her daughter, Ivanka, before musing about her own possible title. "First Lady? Holds no appeal for me personally. First Mother? That could work."
