KEY POINTS:
Taupo's Bryan Rhodes has made a late decision to line up for this weekend's world ironman championship in Hawaii.
Rhodes joins Cameron Browne in the men's race while Jo Lawn and Gina Ferguson will carry New Zealand hopes in the women's division.
Rhodes, who last raced the event in 2006, said he and coach Graham Park made the call after deciding he had recovered sufficiently from winning Ironman Canada in August.
