New Zealand's Terenzo Bozzone has won the silver medal in the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Las Vegas today.
Bozzone, the 2008 world champion, rode strongly in the main chase group and pushed hard on the run, breaking clear of Beijing Olympic champion Jan Frodeno of Germany on the first of three laps on the run.
German Sebastian Kienle repeated his solo victory of last year, pushing clear on the bike and holding on to win by two minutes from Bozzone with Australian Joe Gambles, a further minute behind in third.
Australian Melissa Hauschildt was in a class of her own to win the women's title, to repeat her maiden victory in 2011.
