Indoor Bowls: Singles champion crowned

Christchurch's Richard Griffiths beat Dean Gilshanan, of Manawatu, 15-9 in the final of the men's singles at the national indoor bowls championships in Wanganui yesterday.

Griffiths had earlier beaten Waikato's Steve Flaszynski 15-5 in the semifinals, while Gilshanan progressed to the final after beating Paul Smith, of Tauranga, 8-7.
