Aucklanders can watch the America's Cup action in San Francisco from their own waterfront, thanks to a hub set up for red sock-clad fans.
Shed 10 on Queens Wharf opened its doors at 7.45am yesterday for a live screening of Emirates Team New Zealand taking on Oracle Team USA in San Francisco Bay.
Red socks and other Sir Peter Blake Trust merchandise are for sale on site from four-time Olympian and trust ambassador Beatrice Faumuina (pictured, with programme co-ordinator Shelley Thomas, far right).
The free event will also be running tomorrow, Sunday and Monday and is hosted by Waterfront Auckland with the support of Auckland Tourism Events & Economic Development and the Voyager NZ Maritime Museum.
