New Zealand will begin their World League finals women's campaign against seventh-ranked China when the tournament begins in Tucuman, Argentina at the end of next month.
The third-ranked Black Sticks have been placed in pool B for the inaugural event which features the world's eight top-ranked teams and has been finalized after a lengthy qualifying process which began 14 months ago.
After playing the Chinese on November 30, New Zealand face world No 2 and hosts Argentina a day later, followed by Australia on December 3, with the finals on December 8.
New Zealand will get an important look at the Australians when the teams clash at the Oceania tournament in Taranaki at the end of this month.
If matches go as the seedings suggest, the Black Sticks would draw world No 5 Germany in their quarter-final. Win that and most likely the world No 1 Netherlands would be their semifinal opponents.
